Trainer: Wendy Kroeker Achieve Centre For Leadership
A One Day Training Course for Manitoba Leaders and Managers
Sponsored by the Manitoba Association of School Business Officials
Organizational change efforts stall when leadership forgets to focus on the impact change will have on employees. Managing the “people side” is often the most challenging and critical component of organizational transformation. Getting people on board and engaged in the change will greatly enhance the likelihood of new structures and approaches being implemented successfully. The workshop focuses on you as the leader and the development of competencies that will provide a foundation for the what, why and how of managing the people side of change.
The course will be delivered by Wendy Kroeker. Wendy has worked in a wide variety of organizations, boards and businesses both in Canada and internationally as a consultant for workplace development, a senior mediator and facilitator of strategic processes.
In addition to working at ACHIEVE, Wendy teaches in the Peace and Conflict Transformation Department at Canadian Mennonite University, co-directs the Canadian School of Peace building and facilitates workshops in multiple Asian workplace contexts. Her education brings together degrees in program management and theology with a certificate in mediation and current PhD work in Peace and Conflict Studies.
Wendy is regularly consulted on workplace team dynamics and leadership questions regarding the betterment of relationships and systems in the workplace. Wendy has been active in the field of training and development for over 20 years.
